Chapter 6

They ate a big breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, and oatmeal. The cook was more interested in who Lisa was and why Michael would be bringing a woman into his hideaway. After Lisa assured him that she wasn't going to tell anyone about who lived here, he seemed to warm up to her. They talked of the plans for lunch and tonight's dinner. After both of them had eaten their fill, Michael escorted her to the living room.

"Now, I want to talk to you and this is serious. As far as what happened earlier, I know you promised yourself you would wait for marriage. I feel responsible for you even though you technically are still a virgin. I can't propose marriage yet, we have only known each other one day, but I want to try this out, see if maybe we can have a permanent relationship." Michael said holding her hands in his.

"What are you talking about? I didn't make love to you to try to get a marriage proposal from you. I wanted you, sexually, and decided it was time. Do you really think I wanted to trap you into a relationship?" Lisa asked angrily.

"No, I don't believe that. But I also don't believe you are the type of woman for a one night stand. If I thought you had set out to trap me, you would have been out on your ass before you had a chance. I feel a connection to you, I can't explain it. I want us to explore it though, if you feel the same way. I want to show you what making love really is, but I can't promise you marriage, I can only promise never to hurt you, and to start seeing you in public, as in dating. Can we agree to that?" Michael explained, trying to calm her down.

"Are you sure this is what you want, not that you feel you have to because of guilt?" Lisa asked.

"I have never been more sure of anything in my life. I want you in my life, I want to be a part of your life. I am going on tour in a couple of months, and if this works out, I would love for you to travel with me." Michael told her.

"Okay, I want you a part of my life also. I need to think about the tour though. I do have a company to run, but I will see what I can figure out. Are you sure you want to be seen with me though? Apparently everyone knows now that I don't put out, so this could look bad for you." Lisa said, teasing him.
