Biography: Trina has been a voracious reader her whole life and wrote her first novel when she was eleven years old.

The Bairn of Brianag is the first novel she has completed--though the prequel is almost complete, and a sequel is started! She writes under the pen name of Ida Flowers.

Trina loves American History, particularly the Colonial Period, and is fascinated by the daily lives of the people of that time, particularly the women. She is passionate about her characters, and gets really emotionally involved with them, which is evident in the pages.

Her favorite contemporary authors are Charles Frazier and Elizabeth Peters, and she thinks perhaps The Help by Kathryn Stockett is the greatest novel to be published recently.
