Helps homeless families move directly into affordable rental housing in safe residential neighborhoods. Provides up to one year of individualized, home-based supportive services "after the move" to help each family transition to stability and independence. Gets homeless into homes. Over the years it has expanded its services to include comprehensive social services, child development and welfare-to-work programs.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES. Contact your local group. (You do not have to be Catholic to receive help). May provide food, clothes and small amounts of cash especially for gas to get to medical, dental, etc. Appointments and will make referrals for other needed services. May help with utilities.
