CEREBRAL PALSY CENTERS. Contact your local Cerebral Palsy organization. They offer assistance for paying for medical bills, moving expenses, putting a new roof on your home and other emergency needs.

Homeless Assistance from the Welfare Office. If you become homeless, the welfare office will pay for housing.

(WIC) Women, Infant & Children's Program. This is a federal health and nutrition program for pregnant women (and women up to 6 months after delivery), breastfeeding women, and children under 5. Each monthparticipants receive vouchers for very specific types of food including milk, peanut butter, baby formula, infant cereal, regular cereal, eggs, cheese, beans, carrots and tuna fish. Call your local health department (usually located in the blue section of your phone book) for a clinic nearest your area.

Open to single moms who are divorced, separated, widowed or never-married. Helping single moms gain knowledge of and access to support from Christian charities and other benefactors, including governmental agencies. Can help locate agencies who will give food, clothing, help with car repair, etc.
