Synopsis

This is the story of an honest woodsman, a dishonest husband, an undecided woman and a courageous peasant girl. A woodsman is betrothed to his childhood sweetheart but her father convinces her to marry the new doctor in town and move into the father's home. The doctor soon begins an affair which leads to a divorce. The doctor repents which starts her back and forth between the woodsman and the doctor.
