We went to the dining hall where everyone had taken their seats and was waiting for us. There were two long tables, one for us and our parents along with the bridesmaids and groomsmen. The other table had the rest of our closest family, friends and coworkers. George was on the stage where the band would later be playing.
"Everyone, I'm pleased to introduce Mr. and Ms. Ramos!" George said as we entered.
There was applause as we went into the room and made our way to the table. Tony and I sat side by side never letting go of each others hands. Dinner was served but before we could eat it was time for the toasts.
Dad stood up. "Welcome everyone, thank you all for coming. I would like to make a toast of health and happiness to the bride and groom. Cheers!"
"Cheers!" Everyone said and took a sip of champagne.
Tony stood up. "Caitlyn and I would to thank everyone for being here on the greatest day of our lives." Tony looked at his Dad sitting across the table. "I'd like to thank my Dad for raising me and loving me. I know it wasn't easy but it was because of you and Mom that I turned out so great. Your unconditional love for Mom showed me how to love this beautiful woman here. So thank you. I wish Mom could be here with us now…" Reaching over I squeezed his hand, he gave me a tender look before continuing. "And thanks to my brother Patrick for always being there for me." He looked over at my parents and Auden sitting on the other side of us. "Thank you, for raising such a beautiful woman who has shown me what life is really about." He looked at me. "Everyone else I like to thank you for being our friends. Thank you all for your gifts. I propose a toast to the bridesmaids for a job well done. Cheers!"
