- To my parents, Richard and Joanne, who inspired my love of history through many visits to historic sites during my childhood; - To Carol Anne, who is both my sister and best friend, and to her husband Bill and their son Matthew; - To my brother, Paul, whose happy smile and laughter reminds me to enjoy the humor of life.
