Chapter 2

PART II: LOVE SEQUENCE

TO THE LOVE THAT NEVER HURT A BIT

You are a reminder of how much love I can give

How great of a person I become,

when loving you is part of my joyful days.

For, out of all the exotic islands,

hectic cities

And clear blue oceans

You are the only place that feels like home.

-And that for me is more than enough.

DEPTH

I could have picked you…

Even in uncountable small stones,

I’d look for your purity,

Your dust,

In every little flaw that schemes your figure,

I’d find a reason to love you wholly,

In the core of your Iris,

I’d stare in close,

Closer and closer,

Till I lose myself deep,

Deeper and deeper.

CANDLE

Give me your tongue,

I want you to taste my intensity

The lava in my saliva

The spice in my sweat.

Everything is at edge on me

Nothing is barely what it is

They are all to much of what they are.

My body feels like a planet

It grips seas and volcanoes

And I sit still to hold them from leaking.

Fetish mind, acidic heart...

Don't search for warmth in my arms

I also burn myself sometimes...

MUTED FEELINGS

Dressing in vulnerability

walking in ease

I want my skin to respond

To every chill my heart sends

I refuse to cage myself

So I open the gates

Come please me,

Come hurt me

All these feelings are meant to be felt.

IT’S 3:27AM IN FLORENCE

The city marries lovers

And fuses strangers into soul-sisters

Stony streets and orange lights

Picking which face to turn gold

chaotic raindrops spraying

My lips sneaking in one drop at a time

Just to taste the thrill of November

The wait of festive.

On a cold morning

I warned the city

The hidden green gardens

Purple daisies quilting

That they will bow to me

While I walk through them with you

For I had dreamt of striking

beams

Piercing through our raincoats

To find the heat they’ve been yearning for.

The road lead lost lovers back home

And it waited for our feet to walk on

But we never came

Monday, Tuesday

You said sorry

I kept waiting till Sunday.

I apologize to the city I hungered of

Your face and your fingers.

THE LONG TEXT

You went ahead and wrote 476 words in 107 lines

Each line tearing your pride apart.

you close your eyes and chew your tongue,

And whisper to yourself

"This is what you do for love"

What ties your legs so tight from running away

GUARD YOUR HEART

How do you call it when your body demands warmth from another body

Nights when your legs are restlessly fondling each other

Under your blanket

Searching for him

Whoever he is

Eyes wide open to stay blinded by the ashy darkness
