Voices beckon to everyone,
graves open their compassionate arms.
Shying away from anger,
intoxicated on cheap deeds.
Do we fall?
Black smile in our minds,
dwarfing all things good.
Eyes guide us down the hallway,
swift inaction bleeds into our veins.
Counting seconds as dimes,
into our deepest sleep our eternal horror arrives.
Insanity enflares our biological hell,
smothering other vain dreams.
Soaking our souls in the devil’s blood,
infernal wrath has befallen our children.
Misspoken or quoted wrong by the simplistic ones.
Consuming other drama to justify our own.
Do we fall?
Quick to withdraw from faith,
lashing out on other’s flaws.
Selective compassion to the dying,
we have entertained our own gallows.
Obliteration is the key,
the riddle is unknown.
Careless miss breeding has signed our declaration to the underworld.
Mute to our perilous cries,
sprinkles of decay fall from our colorless sockets.
Voices beckon to one and all,
exhume the ancient evil to deploy among the exhausted rebel minds.
Time counts down before the hour of man’s expiration.
