Chapter 26

Course of Mercy

I live inside, withering away from this pain.

Damaged and blind I take a moment of reprieve.

This world fades in and out of my mind,

stranded in the empty desire,

numbness is from  the coldness of my heart.

Fortified against all will,

alone I pace the castle stairwells.

Accepting my fate from the fire as my skin calls out in the hollow darkness.

Deliverance from mercy is etched on my soul,

lying down on this bloody floor.

Ancient scribes lie, prophets of technology try.

Listening to the wails of life,  my body turns black. Suffering the ill courage of suicide,

I step forth to fall from the edge.

Droplets of water chill my veins as my eyes reach

for the life after,

bitterness of reincarnation hazes my mind.

Stars' fall and heaven blunders as the gates close,

I walk into the embrace of the iron maiden.

Anguish is released as my body lies in this tomb,

forever in love.

Time seals the door to the castle,

banning the world to see, God's only mistake.

Angels stand outside as a sorrowful guard to this miserable end.

Sleet falls from the sky as the last God passes on by, horror stricken.

I roam the halls of this castle,

alone from everything.

Forever living in this omen.
