Hidden Talents and Not So Hidden Talents

The Challenge to Inspire

Many of the children have a natural tendency toward artwork or music. It can be deceiving if they're copying gang-type graffiti. I get caught in the middle of my enjoy-ment of classical or old favorites and their enjoyment of rap music.

When I discovered the "parental guidance" labels on their music, it got confiscated until they get released from my household. I am surprised the stores sell them to the children, but somehow it does get by.

Trying to keep everything within the range of appropriate is no easy task in today's world of little censorship.

My talents tend toward writing, and writing has proven to be very therapeutic and a creative outlet for everyone.

If we can find the magic of inspiration in healthy artistic expression, we've hit a mother lode of gold.
