What Will It Take To Solve This Problem?

Nagging doesn't work - they often ignore repeated reminders.

Setting a policy until the behavior changes works much better.

  • I will do a room check before you leave for school.
  • We will check your homework assignment book after dinner and before TV or before you head out to play.

The important element is you care to check.

It takes awhile to change bad habits; sometimes weeks, sometimes longer - but changes will occur with persistence and consistency.

They know when you really care and should respond to please you.
