Communication

Try to be specific with your instructions and give a reason, if possible, why you are giving the instruction.

Children who come from homes with healthy life experiences can grasp situations much quicker than those children who try to do a comparison with what they know or have experienced.

Taking tiny steps, giving specific small instructions and reviewing the task and giving feedback is important. If things are not right or not working out, this needs to be discussed and ideas shared on how to fix it.
