Sean's sudden change in mood from playful to angry surprised Juliana.
"There is no need to take that tone with me Mr. Ryan; you could have explained this earlier," snapped Juliana, before resuming a more professional posture.
"OK, but use your head, woman, what if the porter had detected us," said Sean angrily.
"Don't patronize me Mr. Ryan. It was a mistake that won't be repeated, but I always use my head," Juliana said with authority.
"I am the one in command here and for the moment you are working for the FBI: consultant or not, you are my responsibility. Just don't cross me again, Miss Del Rio. This is not some bureaucratic game we are playing here. We could be killed." Sean paused for a moment and realized he was intimidating his partner more than he intended.
"I… never signed up to die Mr. Ryan… I just want to get my samples and nail these bastards. Why did you say we were going to die?"
"Calm down. I just think that you can never underestimate what some people will do to avoid getting caught and that is… well that is why the FBI is involved."
Juliana stopped, and looked worried, "Hay dios mÃo que será de mi vida, en que me he metido!" she mumbled to herself.
"Yes, some mess you have gotten yourself into, but pleading with God won't change the fact that it's too late to turn back. Now keep moving; the ship will be departing soon."
