"Yeah, that's why I was at the Sky Top Restaurant. I heard it was the headquarters for mob activities."
"You're correct, and I've been trying to assist you anonymously. I was the one who booked you on the Glacier Wilderness Trip and arranged for Jack to be there. All along, I was trying to get more information connecting those polluters who are dumping toxins to Big Eagle. I also have suspicions about conspiracies connecting the polluters and high government officials. That's why I avoided any direct contact with federal authorities. After all, the Feds don't like our work either. Nevertheless, I think I can trust you and Miss Del Rio. She has the same convictions as we do."
The cab pulled up to the apartment and Peter gave the driver four dollars. They walked into a large building, a warehouse that had been converted into apartments along the dock.
Sean asked, "Why do you keep saying 'we'?"
"You'll find out when we get inside. For now, you can clean up and have something to eat," said Peter unlocking the door to his apartment. It was a typical furnished apartment, except that half of the room was filled with laboratory equipment and computers. Sean walked over to take a closer look, "Some of this looks like the equipment Julie has."
"You're right, but some of that equipment has not yet been available to your agents or to anyone else. You see, the 'we' you asked about is a group of envirotechies, as we like to call ourselves."
