Target Alaska Breaking Cover

Climbing into the cab, Sean and Peter looked around to see if they were being followed.

"Where to?" the driver asked.

Peter looked at Sean, who shook his head saying, "I don't know."

Peter ordered the driver: "Take us to 411 Water View Apartments." Turning to Sean he said, "That's my place; you can stay the night, if you wish." Peter paused, waiting for Sean to respond. But when Sean remained silent, Peter continued, "Back at the restaurant I asked you a question that you didn't answer. Why were you at the Sky Top Restaurant tonight and where's your wife?"

"I actually came there looking for my wife. Any more I can't tell you." Sean was polite and professional, even though he wanted to express his concern for Julie's safety.

Peter stared at Sean, "I think I'd better tell you my secret… after all you did save my life."

Sean interrupted, "I know about your gambling losses to those mobsters."

"You're pretty good at this undercover work, but that's not the secret I'm talking about. That gambling story was a ploy to get to see Big Eagle."

"You must be crazier than I thought!" Sean snapped.

"Not really. I know about you and Julie. The two of you are federal agents on undercover assignment to catch toxic polluters. Miss Del Rio has a promising career in the environmental enforcement field and we've been following her for years. You, however, are a different story. We only started to gather information on you since you teamed up with Miss Del Rio. You were sent here posing as a married couple to investigate the cruise ship, and it appears you've also been checking out the criminal activities in town."
