In the Johnson's living room, Katherine is reading from the newspaper to Robert, "For a time, the air was filled with blinding streaks of electricity which seems to shoot off into the darkness on some mysterious errand."

Robert said, "Good grief, Katherine, Nikky is really hitting the headlines."

"Let me send him a note to see if he'll join us at the Hawthorne's next month. I miss him so much."

Robert agreed, "I guess I do, too. We've been through so much together."
