Chapter 18 - Page 1 of 7

Colin Bradwell, owner of the Black Knights listened to Roberta Whitehall's story with skepticism.

"Does Detective Denelle have any evidence that it was one of our fans who committed her murders," asked Bradwell.

"Well no, admitted Roberta. Right now its just a theory she's working on."

"If its just a theory, quizzed Bradwell. How will a list of our season ticket holders help her"?

"She can do computer background checks on them and see if any red flags pop up," explained Roberta.

Bradwell, puffing on a cigar, tapped his fingers on his desk as he thought about it for a minute.

"I don't think I'm going to give you those names, said Bradwell after a minute of contemplation. It seems to me that would be an invasion of my fans privacy."

"Ivory would be discreet," Roberta assured him.

"Besides, continued Bradwell. If the season ticket holders found out, they may not buy tickets for next season or they might even sue me."

"Ivory would never accuse anyone without hard evidence, explained Roberta. She realizes its a long shot but she feels she would be neglecting her duty if she didn't investigate every possibility. Besides, if it were your players being murdered wouldn't you want me to do the same thing for you"?

Bradwell thought about it for a few minutes as he relit his cigar.
