Book Title: Forever Young

This was a fun short read, but was far from a romance and more of a mystery. I'm assuming it was aimed at younger readers or written by a young adult because of the situations that arose in the story. Despite the fact that the main plot was incredibly predictable, the story itself was suspenseful to a degree. It's sort of like the Wicker man meets The Village with a splash of Tuck everlasting thrown in. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of closure at the end. Yes they answered the final questions, but I would have liked a bit more insight. I wish the characters could have found a diary in addition to what they found that could have answered some more questions that were left hanging. Perhaps the author wanted us to draw our own conclusions, but it felt more like they wanted to end the story as quickly as possible. There could have easily been one last chapter to tie up the loose ends. Other than that, it was a great, quick read to kill some down time at work!
