Chapter 41 - Page 2 of 2

I give you Jack Migo

At Our Lady's College in Nemson he won a book prize for the most original thinking in English. He taught Philosophy 100 before ever taking a course in philosophy.

He took his BA with honors at UBC in sixty-three, teaching certificate in sixty-eight, life underwriting in seventy-two. He came out to Ontario in seventy-nine, and earned his real estate license with the property assessment certification in eighty-three.

As you can imagine, his work history is just as varied.

He got the top job in a good sized sawmill by presenting himself as an experienced sawyer and went on from there to become sawmill superintendent, and eventually, sawmill owner.

He worked as public accountant in a CA firm for four years and then as management accountant for twenty.

But I really must cut this short, I'm sorry.

Due to our tight schedule there will be no questions from the floor during or after Mr Migo's presentation. Jack and I have agreed that if you have comments or concerns you should mail them to me, and if you would like to have a copy of tonight's paper, send a cheque for $10 to me, Nicholas P. Snoek, at 383 Queen Street West, Cambridge, Ontario, N3C 1G6. You can see that written on the white board at the front of the hall.

I will see your letters get to him.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you - Jack Migo!"
