Everybody's got a situation that's not quite working

Not everybody's about complication when trouble's fight is lurking

There's no time to be Complacent and Calmness cannot be misused

We have no choice but to embrace it to handle our own ISSUES!

 

You know the mind can't cruise when our mental rivers are rough

It's hard to tell the don't and do's when our ISSUES get too tough

When trouble gets thick we rush to get with God quick

But remember this lesson, if you never knew it

Can't ask The Almighty for help and then try to tell him how to do it!

Prayer only works when we agree to give the power away

To the Supreme Being that will handle it at any hour of any day!

 

We have doubts even as grown-ass Men and Women

We can't stomp and pout when life gives us sour lemons

We've got to know how to let go of the bad

How to do without the doubt in ourselves we've always had

How to not have to be told to take hold of the good

How to access our best like the confident always should

 

So with it…what do we do?
