The Hip Is In the Hop

Then someone had an idea they thought would be funky,

And that was to bring Hip hop into the world of Country.

When the sounds of the South, merged with the words of a lyricists' mouth,

The two locked like the bars in the slammer,

When the experiment was through, much to the delight of many of you,

We got Nelly with his "Country Grammar".

Did you know there was a fusion of Heavy Metal with that of Hip Hop,

Do you see the method to the madness is much like the Rhythm of the Rhyme,

How it just won't stop?

For music lovers from everywhere came out to "Kick It".

And, when the fun was done and out came the sun,

Thus, the birth of Limp Biskit!

Though others are confused,

I am continuously amused, by those who don't believe Hip Hop's effect to be magical.

Cause when creativeness is left to brothers like Wyclef,

Hip Hop can even be paired with classical.

Now, I hope that I have been able to provide a Semi-Hype show,

By demonstrating the power of the lyrical flow and,

The fact that music is constant, on and on, and will never stop.

So the two are ours to savor, but if any tune lacks a little bit of flavor,

ALWAYS Remember, the Hip is in the Hop!!!
