Chapter 18 - Page 1 of 3

The Game

There's a game people have played from the beginning of time

I'm here to speak on it through the rhythm of rhyme.

Men and Women have participated in this Tit-for-Tat game.

Although the players over generations change, the basic concept remains the same.

Now this perspective arises from my own personal theory.

I urge that you recognize your acts of wrongness, should you begin to identify and feel weary.

This discussion covers both sides of the spectrum.

So I suggest that you listen and if you see issues, better check yourself and correct 'em.

Ladies, there's no harm in longing for the comfort and security of a "Good Man".

However, before you start searching, wouldn't it help to know exactly where you stand?

You say you want an "Honest" man, one who keeps it real.

Then when he speaks the truth, you act uncouth and can't even deal.

Always claiming to want a Grown Ass Man, one who handles his biz.

Yet you let your insecurities remain and band against this Man and everything he is!

We all want a man whose strong enough to stand on his own.

But that's a must for you to do too, he can't be with you if you've never yourself been alone.

There are many types of men and the good ones are out there.

So stop frontin' and start hunting' by looking here, there, and everywhere.
