Chapter 40 - Page 1 of 2

Dear Friend

Dear Friend,

I've always viewed myself as aggressive…you know me, determined to be hard.

I never settle for what's easy…and emotionally I've built up this guard.

I write to express what's being felt…and I am sometimes bold.

That's why I can't figure out for the life of me how you've broken through my mold.

And…I don't know how to tell you…can't conjure up the right words to say it.

My aggressiveness is gone and my tune is doomed cause I don't know how to play it.

How can I tell you…what words have I heard to rightly spit it?

How can I get you to see…that for me, this Earth is a curse, if you are not in it?

Look…

Whatever it is to each other "we" be, my friend I want you in my life to walk with me.

I don't feel right when we're not tight…my friend I need you always to talk with me.

I mean…

The things we share…how our souls we've bared…no one compares…

And…I'm so scared…

That if I don't say this now…to you it will never be revealed,

That you'll never know how I really actually feel…

How you've mended all of my broken hearts and made sure they all healed
