Chapter 43 - Page 1 of 2

I Can't Tell

I can't tell your love won't fail to one day break my heart

I'm so open to devotion because with me you've made your mark

You know when we're close it's the most

Yet, you'll snip the string on our personal thing and continue to just coast

You down play your feelings and hide your mind's truth

Limit our emotional dealings and deny my heart the proof

Proof that I need to believe in what our love can do

Can't hide it and won't fight it

I'm simply built to love you

You know you need me

Protective measures you feed can't deceive me

Because I saw long ago how hard you had fell

For me, hopelessly but, you're scared so… I Can't Tell

If it only takes one phrase, one gaze or one simple touch

Then, why can't I tell that you miss my smell…

Or, that you even love me that much?

Yeah I'm criminally reading you, more like subliminally pleading with you

To be real with me about what it is you feel for me

I'll always need to hear it

There's no way, not one day I won't want to feel our deal

Especially if I can't be near it!

Know that when I extend to you every part of me

And you stop and block to defend the reckless heart in me

That I can't call it…not when you stand so strong to stall it.
