Chapter 5 - Page 2 of 8

Now we have two nervous people on our hands. "Just drive, Michael. It will all turn out okay," I said.

"I sure hope so, I should've have never agreed to do what they asked. What was I thinking?"

"What matters now is you're trying to make it right."

"Yeah, thanks, Agent Andrews."

"You're welcome."

The drive was silent except for Keith giving instructions to Michael. It was a short drive, and from Hawthorne we turned on Porter and then left on Adams.

Keith reached over the back of the seat and squeezed my shoulder. "We're pulling in to the dead end road now, all teams take your positions," he said into the radio.

"Copy that," Pete said. Michael parked the car and looked back at us.

"Michael get down on the floor and don't move," Keith ordered. I pulled out my gun and took a deep breath. Surveilling the area I saw to the left two rundown buildings with boarded up windows, it was quiet and there was no one around. The open field in front of us was covered in weeds that had grown waist high. It was likely hostiles could be hiding there or in the buildings.

From the side of one of the buildings three men in camouflage pants and dark green shirts came towards the limo with assault rifles. I turned to Keith who nodded and we reached for the doors. Presley ducked down putting his hands over his head.
