Starke walked over to his computer. And hit the button that would boot it up, and hit the button that would boot it up, and waited, he got on line and started checking the various chat rooms, there wasn't a lot of activity because people are still at work but later towards evening it would pick up and then he will find them.

What was it Candee said about this guy? She knows him from the newsstand where he works and she makes small talk with him occasionally, since she works at the paper and the two jobs are related, and on weekends this guy drives cars in the demolition derby at the local racetrack, yeah that's the hook I'm looking for.

This gal must be nuts about this macho crap, and he brags about his wins in the chat rooms, and then he chats with Candee because he feels he knows her, and the other girl gets jealous because she feels she's being ignored.

Well I think I've got that much figured out, Starke thinks as he sips his second cup of coffee since lunch which consisted of pretzels and a chunk of cheese, it seems that's about all he ever has time for, never a proper lunch, oh well, he looks forward to mom's leftovers for dinner all the more, without that he'd be skin and bone, he thought and laughed.

He shut the PC down and went out to sit on the old porch swing for awhile after all that's what down time is supposed to be about some relaxation and that's what he intended to do for the rest of the afternoon. It was a beautiful spring day, and he was grateful that he got to live in the serene wooded area outside of the city proper, and take in all that nature had to offer.
