The dismay was evident on the faces of the paramedics as they arrived and saw who it was. They called in reinforcements, as Char canceled with her friend and settled in for the evening resigned to a night of never ending madness that she had become so accustomed to since her arrival here. In the few short months she had lived here, she had been through more, struggled more, and seen more then she cared to in a life time. This was it, the last straw. Char made up her mind; she was selling her trailer and moving. Now that she was working fulltime, she could afford a small rent. Her search would begin tomorrow.
As she watched the truck arrive and the chain attached to her porch, she was certain that she was making the right decision……this time.
