Chapter 8

Ambie arrived at noon, helmet still in hand, and they decided to walk down to Aggie's trailer anyway to offer their services. Ambie carried a large bag with an assortment of what she called "useful things for jobs like this." "Just a few items I picked up along the way…" Ambie had explained. Glancing inside the bag, Char found herself a little perplexed. Inside she could see several medical masks, an air freshener, disinfectant spray, a lint brush and a variety of other items. Char shrugged her shoulders and went along willingly.

Upon arrival, they found the door open and the sob of distant crying was coming from the hallway. "Aggie?" Called Ambie. "Oh, over here, I jus couln't be more 'barrassed!" Aggie called out through her sobbing. Char and Ambie approached with caution, peaking around the corner to see where Aggie was calling from.

"OH! WHAT? HOW?" Char heard Ambie calling…..she glanced over her shoulder to see that where the toilet had been, Aggie, who had been apparently sitting on it, now was! She was stuck between the floor boards. There she was, her black wig had fallen sideways covering part of her face. The make up, which had been painted on her face, was streaked from tears and her arms were resting on the floor. She had bathroom tissue in one hand and was desperately trying to reach her nose.
