Biography: Myles Muredach was the pen name used by Francis Clement Kelley (1870-1948), the second Roman Catholic Bishop of Oklahoma. Born in Canada, he was trained in Canada and Belgium before being ordained in Detroit, Michigan in 1893. Father Kelley founded the Catholic Church Extension Agency and its quarterly magazine, and wrote several books of fiction and non-fiction. He was active in the leadership of the Catholic Church and its involvement with the Boy Scouts of America.
