Biography: Edgar Wallace (1875-1932) was an English novelist and playwright whose specialty was detective and adventure stories. Famous as co-creator of King Kong, over 160 films have been made from his novels. Wallace used his early experience as a crime reporter to detail police methods and criminal psychology in stories like The Terror and the J.G. Reeder detective series.
