| Biography: | Wayne Bryant was born in Lakeland, Florida, but moved to Jacksonville when he was three years old. He attended Terry Parker High School. A heart attack forced him into early retirement. He wore many hats during his working career, from that of a construction worker, entertainer, short order cook and shipfitter to hauling US Mail long distance. He wanted to write about some of the experiences in his life. He took a course in creative writing from Jacksonville Junior College. PublishAmerica read his manuscript The Last Train Home and published it. He was awarded the Fiction Promotions Exceptional Author Appreciation Award for that novel. That novel sold in Asia, Europe, Canada and the United States. He has appeared on numerous radio talk shows and television shows (including the popular Good Morning Jacksonville show.) Bryant admits his life has never been boring. His ability to write a story that causes page-turning excitement is simply amazing. |
