Biography: B.M. Bower is a pseudonym used by American author Bertha Muzzy Sinclair. Born in Minnesota in 1871, Bower specialized in adventure novels about the American Old West. She penned over 50 westerns, some of which were made into films. Titles include Black Thunder (1926) and the successful Flying U series (1906-1933).
